Simon gained his BSc Podiatry Degree at New College Durham School of Podiatric Medicine in association with the University of Sunderland Health Sciences (now Sunderland Medical School) and Newcastle University Medical School anatomy department.

Expert Witness certificate achieved with Bond Solon & Cardiff University Law school.

Simon is HCPC registered and is a preferred provider for the major medical insurers and health schemes for foot problems requiring custom orthotics (arch supports). Member of the Royal College of Podiatry.
